I HATE shopping and I went to four different wedding dress stores. I was going to give it one more shot because my sister and grandmother were in town to go shopping with me. Well, it worked! This was the first dress that I tried on that day and it brought me to tears! I wanted to feel like a princess at my wedding (as cliche as that sounds) but was worried that a dress like this would swallow me up since I am very petite. I didn't want to look like a marshmallow! Well, this dress was the perfect blend, because it made me feel like a true bride but still gave me a shape and a figure. I thought I would end up in something tighter and sleeker, but this felt so special. I also got married in the summer in Napa, so the light fabric fit our venue so well.
I am 5'2" so the dress was altered to work with my shorter frame and 3-inch heels. Additionally, it was taken in around the waist and bust (I wear a 32B cup). The rhinestones were also reinforced.
The only flaw, which can be fixed, is the bustle. We did the horah at our wedding and, of course, I fell off the chair! It could have been a lot worse, but the bustle did break. It should be able to repair easily! The bottom is also a bit dirty, but nothing that cannot be cleaned.
